Opening the editor
To open the website editor, go to Dashboard > Website. This launches a full-screen editing environment separate from the regular dashboard layout. The editor takes over the entire viewport so you can focus on customizing your site.

The editor layout
The editor uses a split-panel design:
- Left side — a live preview of your wedding website rendered inside an iframe
- Right side — a sidebar with your page list, page editor, and site settings
The preview updates automatically as you make changes. When you save content in the sidebar, the preview refreshes without a full page reload, so you see your edits reflected instantly.
The top navigation bar
A slim toolbar runs across the top of the editor with the following controls:
- Close button (X icon) — exits the editor and returns you to the dashboard
- Edit Website label — shown on screens wider than mobile
- Device toggle — switches the preview between desktop and mobile views (more on this below)
- Share — copies your public wedding website URL to the clipboard
- View — opens your live wedding website in a new browser tab

Desktop vs mobile preview
The device toggle in the center of the top bar lets you switch between two preview modes:
- Desktop — the iframe fills the entire available width, giving you a realistic view of how your site looks on a laptop or large screen
- Mobile — the iframe shrinks to 375 by 812 pixels with rounded corners and a subtle shadow, simulating how your site appears on a phone
This toggle is hidden on small screens since you are already viewing on a mobile device.

Browsing your pages
The sidebar starts on the page list view. Under the Pages heading, you will see all the pages that make up your wedding website:
- Home — cover photo, couple names, and wedding events
- Our Story — share your love story with text, images, and timelines
- Photos — photo gallery
- Wedding Party — introduce your bridesmaids, groomsmen, and other important people
- Q + A — frequently asked questions for your guests
- Registry — gift registry links and details
- Wedding Information — travel, accommodation, dress code, and other details
- RSVP — the guest RSVP page
Click any page name to select it. The preview on the left navigates to that page so you can see it while you edit.

Editing a page
When you select a page, the sidebar switches to the page editor view. A back arrow at the top takes you back to the page list.
For most pages, you will see two tabs:
- Content — manage content blocks (text sections, images, Q&A items, and more). Use the Add Block button to insert new content. Blocks can be reordered by dragging them, and each block has options to edit, duplicate, or delete.
- Settings — change the Page Title and toggle Show in Navigation to control whether the page appears in your site’s menu.
Some pages have specialized editors instead of the block-based content tab:
- Home — a dedicated editor for your cover photo, couple names, and event display settings
- Registry — inline controls for managing your registry configuration
- RSVP — settings specific to the RSVP experience

Settings in the sidebar
Above the page list, you will find the Settings section with two links:
- Design — takes you to the theme selection page where you can browse and apply a new theme
- Privacy & URL — takes you to the password settings page where you can set a password to protect your site and manage your URL

Editing on mobile devices
On smaller screens, the sidebar is hidden to give the preview as much room as possible. Instead, a bottom toolbar appears with an Edit Page button.
Tapping Edit Page opens a bottom sheet that slides up and covers most of the screen. This sheet contains the same sidebar content — page list, page editor, and settings — so you have full editing capability on your phone.
Tap outside the sheet or use the close button to dismiss it and return to the preview.
Tips
- Use mobile preview before sharing — toggle to the mobile view to make sure your site looks good on phones, since most of your guests will view it on mobile.
- Show in Navigation — if a page is not ready yet, turn off the navigation toggle in its settings. The page will still exist but will not appear in your site’s menu.
- Drag to reorder — content blocks can be rearranged by dragging, so experiment with the order to find the best flow for your guests.
- Changes save automatically — the preview refreshes after every save, so you can see your updates in real time without manually refreshing.
