Accessing the page
To edit your Photos page, go to Dashboard > Website and open the editor sidebar. Under the Pages section, click Photos. The page editor loads with two tabs: Content (where you manage blocks) and Settings (where you can change the page title and toggle navigation visibility).

Available content blocks
The Photos page supports four block types, each designed to help you present images effectively.
Image
A single image with metadata. Upload one photo and add Alt Text to describe the image for accessibility. You can also include an optional Caption that displays below the image on your published site.
Gallery
A multi-image gallery block. Click the file selector to upload several images at once. Each image supports its own Alt Text and optional Caption. After uploading, you can:
- Reorder images by dragging them into your preferred sequence
- Remove individual images without affecting the rest of the gallery
- Add more images later by selecting additional files
Gallery blocks are ideal for grouping related photos together, such as a set from a single shoot or event.
Title & Body
A heading paired with body text. Use this to introduce sections of your Photos page, such as labeling a group of engagement photos or adding context about when and where photos were taken. The block includes an Alignment option (left, center, or right) to control how the text is positioned.
Spacer
A vertical spacing element that adds breathing room between blocks. Choose from three sizes:
- Small — 5px
- Medium — 10px
- Large — 20px
A visual preview shows the selected height in the editor.
Working with blocks
Click the Add Block button at the top of the Content tab to insert a new block. A dialog appears showing the four available block types. Select one to add it, and the edit dialog opens immediately so you can fill in the details.
Each block card in the list displays a drag handle, the block type label, a content preview, and action buttons:
- Edit (pencil icon) — open the block’s edit dialog
- Duplicate (copy icon) — create an identical copy of the block
- Delete (trash icon) — remove the block after a confirmation prompt
- Reorder — drag the handle on the left side of the card to move the block up or down
Changes to block order save automatically after you drop a block into its new position.
Page settings
Switch to the Settings tab to adjust page-level options:
- Page Title — change the display title for the Photos page. The change saves automatically when you click away from the field.
- Show in Navigation — toggle whether the Photos page appears in your website’s navigation menu. Turn this off while you are still preparing the page, then enable it when you are ready for guests to see it.
Suggested page layout
A straightforward Photos page might look like this:
- Title & Body — a heading like “Our Moments” with a short introductory sentence
- Gallery — your engagement or pre-wedding photos grouped together
- Spacer — a medium spacer for visual separation
- Title & Body — a second heading, such as “The Journey So Far”
- Gallery — additional photos from dates, family introductions, or other milestones
- Spacer — a small spacer before a closing note
- Title & Body — a closing message or thank-you to guests
You can also use individual Image blocks when you want to highlight a single standout photo with its own caption, rather than embedding it in a gallery.
Tips
- Use Gallery blocks for groups of related photos and Image blocks for standalone feature shots. This keeps the layout clean and intentional.
- Add alt text to every image for accessibility. Guests using screen readers rely on this to understand your photos.
- Preview your changes in the website preview panel on the right side of the editor to see how blocks look on the published site before sharing with guests.
- Hide the page while building it by turning off Show in Navigation in the Settings tab. Enable it once you are happy with the layout.
- Use Spacer blocks sparingly — a medium spacer between major sections is usually enough. Too many spacers can make the page feel disconnected.
- This page is for curated layout content. If you are looking to manage uploaded guest or photographer photos, see the Curate Your Wedding Website Photos guide instead.
