Available content blocks

The Wedding Party page supports two block types:

Person

A card representing a wedding party member. Each Person block includes:

  • Photo — uploaded and cropped to a square, displayed as a circle
  • Name — the person’s full name
  • Role — their role in the wedding (e.g., Maid of Honor, Best Man, Groomsman)
  • Bio (optional) — a short description or personal note about the person

On the Wedding Party page, Person blocks use inline editing. Instead of opening a separate dialog, all fields appear directly on the card. Type into the Name, Role, and Bio fields and your changes save automatically. To add a photo, click the circular Upload area on the left side of the card, then crop your image to a square.

Each Person card also includes an Invite to join planning checkbox. Enable it to enter the person’s email address and send them an invitation to collaborate on your wedding planning. Invited members can suggest vendors, help plan events, and upload photos.

Title and Body

A heading paired with body text. Use this block to label groups within your wedding party, such as “Bridesmaids”, “Groomsmen”, or “Family”. You can adjust the text alignment in the block editor.

Adding blocks

Click the Add Block button below your existing content to insert a new block. A dialog appears showing the available block types for the page. Select Person or Title & Body to add it to the bottom of the list.

When you add a Person block, the editor scrolls to the new card so you can start filling in the details immediately.

Editing, reordering, and deleting blocks

  • Edit — For Title and Body blocks, click the pencil icon to open the editor dialog. Person blocks are edited inline directly on the card.
  • Reorder — Drag blocks using the grip handle on the left side of each card to rearrange them.
  • Duplicate — Click the copy icon on a block to create a duplicate with the same content.
  • Delete — Click the trash icon to remove a block. Person blocks can only be deleted when there is more than one on the page.

Page settings

Switch to the Settings tab at the top of the editor to configure:

  • Page title — the name shown in navigation (defaults to “Wedding Party”)
  • Show in navigation — toggle whether this page appears in your website menu

Suggested page layout

A clear structure helps guests quickly find the people they are looking for. Consider organizing your page like this:

  1. Title & Body block — “Bridesmaids” heading with an optional intro sentence
  2. Person blocks — one for each bridesmaid
  3. Title & Body block — “Groomsmen” heading
  4. Person blocks — one for each groomsman
  5. Title & Body block — “Family” or “Special People” heading
  6. Person blocks — parents, siblings, or anyone else you want to highlight

This pattern of group heading followed by person cards keeps the page organized and easy to scan for your guests.

Tips

  • Upload photos before filling in other fields. The image cropper ensures every photo is square, so portraits display consistently as circles on your live site.
  • Keep bios short. One or two sentences about how you know the person or a fun fact works well. Long bios can make the page harder to scan.
  • Use consistent role names. Decide on a naming style (e.g., “Bridesmaid” vs. “Bridal Party”) and stick with it across all Person blocks for a polished look.
  • Invite your wedding party to collaborate. Use the invite feature on each Person card to let your party members help with planning tasks directly in Harusi Hub.
  • Preview your page. After adding your content, check the live preview to see how person cards and group headings look with your chosen theme.
